Martins' Wisconsin Conservation Hall of Fame Induction

You're invited to celebrate our 2023 Wisconsin Conservation Hall of Fame Inductees through a series of free virtual Induction Ceremonies hosted by the Wisconsin Conservation Hall of Fame!

The ceremony to celebrate the induction of Mark Martin and Susan Foote-Martin, resident managers of Madison Audubon’s Goose Pond Sanctuary since 1979, will be Tuesday, April 25, 6:00pm via Zoom. We encourage you to register and attend the ceremony to learn more about and celebrate Mark and Sue’s incredible contributions to conservation in Wisconsin! The ceremony (6-7pm on Zoom) will include a welcome from the Hall of Fame director, a tribute video showcasing Mark and Sue’s conservation story, speeches by Matt Reetz and Chuck Pils, and an interview with Mark and Sue.

You are also encouraged to share a message of congratulation with Mark Martin & Susan Foote-Martin which will be collated and shared during and after the events. Simply email wchfame@gmail.com with your message.

The Wisconsin Conservation Hall of Fame (WCHF) Foundation is pleased to announce the April 2023 Induction of Michael Dombeck, Mark Martin and Susan Foote-Martin, and Byron H. Shaw. "This year we especially celebrate each inductee's capability for vision, persistence, and teamwork. These notable individuals have positively impacted a variety of resources and communities, both in Wisconsin and around the nation," said 2023 WCHF Foundation President Marco Mascitti. Each of these individuals will be inducted into the WCHF on April 25, 2023, in live ceremonies held virtually and free for the public to attend.
